Fruitful reveries, fashion, reconstruction, and home diy blog
I don’t know what it is, but I absolutely love all things woven! Check out these belts that I picked up from my local thrift store for 60 cents a piece 🙂
And here are some bedsheets I picked up from an estate sale a couple of weekends ago. The colors are so vibrant and summer-y!
I’ve already started cutting into the floral print. Here are some pictures of my progress:
This would’ve been done last night had I not run out of elastic! It kills me that I won’t be able to pick some up until Sunday 😦
So I decided to set it aside and begin cutting the remnants I had leftover from the dress. It may be hard to tell at this point, but this is the beginnings of a new purse! The denim fabric is cut from the two sleeves of a denim jacket (remnants of another project I’m working on). One of the cuffs were sliced in half, and will be used to open/close the purse.
I’ll be helping John with a catering job for a Kid Rock concert today, so I won’t be able to get to these until Sunday morning.
Does anyone else have interesting plans for today?
